I am from Oidiva village in Ohangwena region. I was raised by both my parents, together with my five brothers in the village. I completed high school at Oshela Senior Secondary School in 2010. Thereafter I went on to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Namibia, but due to financial constraints could not complete the course.
In 2014, Ohorongo afforded me the opportunity to participate in the Commercial Advancement Training Scheme (CATS) programme at NUST, which I completed in 2016. There after Ohorongo took me in as a Controlling trainee.
Today, I work in an exciting environment, full of new adventures and experiences. Other than working in the Controlling Department, I was privileged to have had the opportunity to also explore the Creditors, Debtors, Logistics and Distribution environment, all of which have equipped me with supreme skills and knowledge. In July 2017, Ohorongo took me on board permanently as a Junior Accountant, an opportunity for me put to use the practical knowledge I gained in the various departments of the company.
Thank you Ohorongo and CATS, for changing my Life!
