OOCT and E.V. Support donates Medical Attire

Ohorongo-Otavi Community Trust (OOCT) in collaboration with E.v. Support from Germany, recently donated a container full of medical attire to the value of EUR 3 000 to the Tsumeb Private Hospital. The donation was made possible by the Ministry of Health and Social Services in assisting OOCT and E.v. Support to bring in the container with the medical attire. The medical attire will be distributed to the various hospitals / clinics that are in need of such items.

Some of the items that were received were amongst others 4 291 pieces of medical scrubs, 1 445 operation caps, 115 operation draperies & 197 operation neckties. OOCT is proud to be working in collaboration with the MOHSS to ensure the clinics and hospitals are supplied with these important clothing items. As part of Ohorongo Cement (PTY) Ltd. commitment to develop the Otavi community, the company, in co-operation with the OOCT , focus falls on the needs of the local community within the Otjozondjupa region in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services. OOCT & E.v. Support supported various projects in the Otjozondjupa region in the past, like the donation of sun creams & setting up of an Albino corner, donations of hospital & specialized medical equipment, and more recently, the donation of wheelchairs & walking frames to the Tsumeb Private Hospital.
