Shalom Primary School is the oldest school in Otavi with an enrolment of 1 036 learners. The school experienced a shortage of classrooms, but due to a recent donation last year, it was able to acquire two modular classrooms. However, funding was not enough to purchase furniture for the classrooms.

Ohorongo Cement through its Otavi Community Trust filled this need by donating 30 chairs and 31 double desks to the value of N$ 18 000 to the school.

Education is important as the pupils of today are the leaders of tomorrow.

OOCT is proud to support Education, especially in Otavi region where it is situated.
