Otavi Health Centre received a welcome boost from Support Ulm e.V. in Germany, when 2 wheelchairs, sunblock and reading glasses were handed over to the centre on 10 November 2021. Partners who assisted Supper Ulm e.V. include Häussler Technische Orthopädie and Ried Apotheke in Ulm. This donation is part of the huge donation from Support Ulm e.V. worth more that N$ 26 million, that was handed over to Hon Minister Kalumbi Shangula on 25 October 2021.
Support Ulm e.V has been involved in Namibia for more than 10 years, and as a result of a Technical Corporation Agreement between Support Ulm e.V., OOCT and the Ministry of Health and Social Services, medical supplies and equipment of more than N$ 53 million was already donated to various hospitals and clinics, including the recent donation.
