Build with Ohorongo: Nedbank Namibia's new green building

Built with Ohorongo Cement: Nedbank Namibia's new green Headquarters

The Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) has awarded Nedbank Namibia's new green headquarters a six-star certification, making it the first building in Namibia to obtain this honor.

In 2022, the building was constructed with sustainability and environmental impact in mind, with energy- and water-saving features such as a solar panel roof structure and rainwater harvesting systems.

Namibia Construction (Pty) Ltd, the principal contractor on the project, said it was proud to be leading the way in facilities with this certification and striving to make a positive impact as a responsible corporate citizen. "The six-star rating represents their commitment to best-practice design and construction methods that create comfortable and sustainable spaces."

Ohorongo Cement is extremely proud to have been part of this extraordinary project!
