The Ohorongo Otavi Community Trust (OOCT) recognized the opportunity to assist the local Otavi Police Station by donating a new multifunction copier/fax/scanner which was handed over to the P.S. of the Ministry of Safety & Security, Dr Ndeutala Angolo on 24 January 2014.

Deputy Commissioner Mavenjono expressed his appreciation that Honorable Namibili (Councilor of the Otavi Constituency) and the Mayor of Otavi, Mr. Moses Damaseb, always assist the Otavi Police in crime prevention.

According to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Safety and Security, Dr Ndeutala Angolo, the Ministry is aware of the various needs of its Departments, however, available budget for these remains limited, hence the great appreciation for assistance from the Private Sector.

She further extended her appreciation towards Ohorongo Cement for the involvement & support & concern for the Otavi community, and for encouraging the town of Otavi to develop, adding that Ohorongo Cement has added a lot of value towards the Namibian economy.

Maxes Office Machines provided training after the hand-over ceremony, to ensure that the new equipment can be used efficiently and effectively.

Ohorongo Cement and OOCT will continue to assist in building a better tomorrow for the Namibian people, knowing that is how you get SET FOR SUCCESS!
