Ohorongo Cement (Pty) Ltd is committed to the production of a Portland cement of high and consistent quality according to international standards.

More than 140 samples are taken daily throughout the production cycle to ensure quality during every step of the production process. Our plant, laboratory and our expert staff are well qualified to produce a variety of cementitious products. 

All our production processes and quality assurance measures are conducted in strict accordance with SANS/NAMS 50197, as certified by the Namibian Standards Institute (NSI) and the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS). Ohorongo’s products are therefore accepted for import into Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe by their relevant certification bodies.

A dedicated technical support team is available to answer any technical questions from customers. Your concrete is our concern. Ohorongo’s fully equipped laboratory can assist with mix designs and concrete tests upon request.

NSI Certificate 

This is to Certify that Ohorongo Cement (Pty)Ltd has been awarded the license to use the NSI Standard Mark.

SABS Certificate

Permit to Apply Certification Mark in respect of the mark specification.

Forschungsinstitut der Zementidustrie GmbH Certificate

Certifies that the company Ohorongo Cement (Pty)Ltd and Sargberg Plant Farm 585 Otavi Namibia has implemented and maintains a quality and environmental management system.
