HOW WAS THE CONCRETE PLACED? Site Mix placed by dumpcar and by hand

WHAT IS UNCOMMON OR SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PROJECT? The location (For me personally, living that remotely for 16 months in that specific area/part of Namibia is a once in a lifetime opportunity… Super awesome and definitely one of the projects I’ll remember for the rest of my life – Jaco Coetzee )

WHEN WILL THE PROJECT BE COMPLETED / WAS IT COMPLETED? It was completed end of March 2023

WHAT WAS SOME OF THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES IN THIS PROJECT? There were a few aspects, but to name a few: the location, weather and wildlife were some of the main challenges. The location was a massive logistical issue getting materials and trucks in and out of the park ( Bad gravel roads, rivers that needed to be crossed, trucks getting stuck in thick sand… The weather conditions, including very high winds just about every day, ranging from 30km/h up to 70km/h …Very high and low temperatures, ranging from 6°C in the morning and 52°C in the afternoon, which also had a massive impact on our concrete, plastering etc.. The wildlife was not too much of a concern, but we had visits from lions, elephants, jackals and hyenas!
